Slurry Pump Operating Procedures

1. Pre-start Inspection: All connections must be tight; the electric rotation direction must be correct; the clutch must be flexible and reliable; pipeline connections must be secure and sealed reliably; the foot valve must be flexible and effective.

2. Before starting the submersible slurry pump, the suction pipe, foot valve, and pump body must be filled with priming water, and the upper end of the pressure gauge buffer must be filled with oil.

3. Manually rotate the pump to make the piston reciprocate twice. Only when there is no obstruction and the wiring insulation is good can the pump be started under no-load. After starting, gradually increase the load after the pump is running normally.

4. During operation, pay attention to the sealing condition of each sealing device and adjust it as necessary. The tie rod and auxiliary rod should be lubricated frequently.

5. During operation, the sand content of the slurry should be frequently tested and must not exceed 10%.

6. For slurry pumps with multiple speed settings, to ensure reliable splash lubrication, each speed should be operated separately for at least 30 seconds each shift.

7. Changing speed during operation is strictly prohibited. If a speed change is necessary, the pump must be stopped before changing gears.
